Description: Louisville Slugger model C271 Ken Griffey Jr. Professional model bat, with a cupped end, is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of excellent game use. Slight checking (grain swelling) from repeated ball contact is visible on the back barrel.

Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right and back barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat marks can be seen on the right, left and back barrel. The handle has been taped.

Approximately 6 inches in a criss-cross pattern to enhance the grip. Signature and added inscription "98 HR 41" are on the front barrel in silver marker. Provenance: The bat is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Ken Griffey Jr.

Confirming the bat was used to hit his 41st home run of the 1998 season. An original ticket stub from the game on July 30, 1998 is also included. Conclusion: After a thorough examination of this Ken Griffey Jr. Professional model bat and its player use characteristics, it is PSA's opinion the bat is authentic, and was game used by JR GRIFFEY during the referenced labeling period. The bat exhibits EXCELLENT game use and possesses identifiable player use characteristics.
