This is a Wrigley Field game used 3rd base from 7/1/2018. This base was on the field when Jon Lester hit his 2nd career home run in the 2nd inning (he had 4 HRs in his 16 year career).

Lester allowed 2 earned runs in 5 innings, earning his 11th win of the 2018 season. The metal post used to insert into the field is still attached to the bottom. The base was obtained and authenticat. Ed by Cubs Authentics immediately following the game.

Jon Lester signed and inscribed the base in a private signing with Schwartz Sports in the fall of 2018. Schwartz Sports then authenticated the signature and inscriptions.
