This ball is so unique!! Not only is it 1958, the only year you could have the great Billy Martin signing a Detroit tigers ball!!! But this ball is the memory of an 18 year old pitcher trying to live his dream of playing pro baseball in 1958. This player eventually made it to the minor leagues in 1959 and I was lucky enough to acquire some really cool pieces from his collection!!! This player was recruited by a couple clubs out of high school and was invited to come work out with the tigers in 1958. While he was there he got this game used ball signed by as many as he could!

The tigers ended up passing on him and the cincinatti reds gave him a contract for the 1959 season. Just a really special piece. On this ball you will find. Yes the grandfather and father you're thinking he his of Aaron and Bret.
