Description: Rawlings model 491A Jim Thome professional model bat is un-cracked and shows evidence of outstanding game use. The barrel is covered with light blue AL ball marks & ball stitch impressions. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Also visible on the bat are cleat marks & bat rack streaks. The lower handle and knob have been wrapped with tape and padded to enhance the grip and there is a heavy coat of pine tar on the handle.

The model number (491A), order number and year (98) are stamped into the knob. Thome's number (25), the order number (491A) and the length and weight (35/32) are on the knob in silver marker and on the top barrel in black marker. A Jim Thome autograph and inscription "Game Used 1998, 612 HR's" are on the front barrel in beautiful chrome paint paint and fully authenticated by the JSA witnessed protection program (WP532774).
